Jaya Anthony:

Founder • Independent Educational Consultant


Jaya has always been passionate about working with students; her genuine interest to help them reach their highest potential has been her driving force to become an educational consultant. Her experience includes positions in the tech and service industries, along with teaching and lecturing at the university level. Volunteering and pro-bono work has been an important piece of her service background.

Jaya has served on the PTA board for many years at different schools in the Irvine Unified School District as VP/Historian, Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) coordinator, Alternative Program for Academically Advanced Students (APAAS) coordinator, and chairperson for different fundraising events. She has also been a part of a professional parent volunteer group, supporting project based learning at Northwood High School. She offers her service as an independent college counselor to help underprivileged high school students through the college planning and applications process. Jaya is diligent, detail oriented, and committed in her work.

Jaya holds her Master’s degree in Economics. She received her Independent Educational Consultant certificate from the University of California, Irvine and training from the Summer Institute of the Independent Educational Consultant Association. She is a professional member of the IECA, a premier organization that promotes the highest quality independent educational consulting to students and families. As an avid educator and mentor, she continues to build her professional experience in educational consulting by attending conferences, workshops, college visits, and meetings with admissions directors from different schools to keep up with the trends in colleges, campus culture, and admissions.
